He has won numerous awards including first place for humor writing and first place for screenwriting at the Santa Barbara Writer's Conference. He is an accomplished photographer with a degree from Brooks Institute of Photography.

He also leads humor workshops at several writers' conferences, and has recently published his third book: Where Are Pat and Ernie Now?
